Due to a reconfiguration of the Occupational Therapy service under a new Head of OT, we are in the position to offer 3 new Band 6 rotational posts to join our expanding team in the acute services at Dorset County Hospital

Band 6 rotational roles based within Dorset County Hospital (Dorchester)

Our rotations include:-
• Orthopaedics - trauma and elective
• Frailty / older peoples wards
• Critical care / respiratory / medical wards
• Emergency Department / admissions unit

We are offering rotations, providing exciting opportunities across various specialties at a senior level, building clinical expertise, service development and leadership experience.

Do you want to build on your current senior skills, or move from a Band 5 post into a senior position whilst maintaining variety across excellent areas of practice in the acute setting? Are you looking to gain experience within various clinical areas and see where you want to specialise? Are you excited to build on your experience in a supportive setting? If so, we would love to hear from you!

The posts are all full time, but we will consider part time working over 4 days.

You will within integrated teams, lead by supportive band 7's to develop your skills within all areas.

The post holders will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills across the above rotations by contributing to service development and supervision of registered and non-registered team members. Each rotation is supported by a well-established supervision and in-service training programme. There are also opportunities for study leave and course funding both internally and externally and we offer student placements to our local universities.
