Salary£12.38 to £16.46 per hour, The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role. A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £16.46. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods.

We have a range of shifts available from 0hrs to 36hrs. Support at Home is a 365 day a year, 7 day a week, 24-hour service. This will include weekend and Bank Holiday rotas. Typically, our shifts run between the hours of 7am – 10pm.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Care Services Westmorland and Furness team in South Lakes, as Domiciliary Support Workers.

Our Domiciliary Service (Home Care) allows people to stay in their own homes. Supporting people in a way which maintains their dignity and empowers them to make choices about how they receive the support required.

About the role

As a Domiciliary Support Worker your role is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

You will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. In line with their individual support plan, your role will include assisting with medication, providing personal care, pressure care and palliative care for those nearing end of life.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities.
