Job Purpose: An opportunity has become available to support a disabled mother and her two children with daily tasks which will include: supported activities, food preparation, domestic care and personal care.Location: Norwich, NR4Details:
- Assist 9 year old son with getting ready for school, this will include making breakfast and packed lunches.
- Support both children with activities
- Personal Care - showering including hair washing
- Housework involves vacuuming, moping, laundry, bed changes and general house maintenance
- Trips to the park and days out to places of interest
- Collecting medications
- Support with medical appointments Shopping
- Batch cooking

- Flexible (Cover other colleague's holiday's and sickness when required.)Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £13.75 per hr· Hours and times of work: Up to 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-10am and Sunday 4pm-6pm.· Free Training can be provided to employed staff.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.If this job requires;
- Manual Handling
- Handling of hazardous chemicals- Food HandlingYou will be required undertake annual training.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
