About us
My Life is a highly respected charity and we are currently seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to join our growing team of Personal Assistants based in Wigan. My Life was established in 2012 as a result of a group of people with disabilities and their families wanting something different to traditional types of health/social care services and wanting more choice and control over their own lives. My Life currently provides care and support to a growing number of individuals who have complex health and social care needs across the North West of England. Our staff are integral to the success of the charity as they are the ones making a real difference to people’s lives.
Your Responsibilities
There is a Personal Assistant / Support Worker role available supporting a lady who lives in her own home. This lady requires full support at home and she enjoys clothes and food shopping, music and wants to access the community and promote her independence. As part of the My Life team, you will ensure that care is provided in a way that respects the individual.
What you'll need to Succeed
In order to succeed, you will be kind-hearted and interested in making a positive difference to this lady’s life. You will have experience working as a Support Worker / Personal Assistant. You will be self-motivated, flexible and have the ability to use your own initiative whilst being caring and sensitive to the needs of others. You will hold a full driving licence.

The salary will be up to £11.44 per hour, sleep rate £75.00, plus a competitive benefits package.
