Our young female client based in Ilkeston is looking for a female Support Worker.
• 12-16 hours a week
• £11.44 per hour
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday- 1pm-6pm
• Flexibility to cover appointments may be necessary- where possible
Our client uses a wheelchair and has a Neurological Disorder which can cause a Non-Epileptic attack.
If you have experience of personal care and have worked in the support environment our client needs your help!
Her health needs may vary from day to day and the tasks will need to reflect this, where there may be other duties as reasonably required but explained. You may need to undertake some training that is considered necessary and appropriate to your role, which will be provided. Duties include domestic tasks, accompanying to college and appointments, as well as shopping and social outings. Personal care is not required on a daily basis but may be required in the case of an emergency.
As our client has sensory processing issues around strong smells, food and fragrances. She struggles to tolerate these.
This is a smoking household (but the family member that smokes will generally smoke outside).
Driver with business insurance (room for a wheelchair)
You must have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to undertake.
