Role: Healthcare Assistant
Salary: £14 per hour
Location: Northampton/ Northamptonshire
Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time
Shifts on offer*: Monday to Sunday, Days 7am - 7pm, Nights 7pm to 7am
*Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.
About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant within the Northampton/ Northamptonshire area who can support across multiple packages and can travel to areas such as Kettering, Market Harborough and Corby. You will be supporting alongside complex needs such as Learning Disabilities, Mild Challenging Behaviours, Tracheostomy, Spinal Injury, Motor Neuron Disease and more. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within their own home and especially within the community, such as going on holiday with them.
You will need to communicate with our services users and their next of kin effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving then the opportunity to communicate their needs as well.

Requirements for the Role
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Background knowledge and experience within complex care, but not a requirement.
- To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
