A little about myself:
I am a young boy who is on the pathway for ASD and ADHD. I enjoy diggers and going the park, going for walks, soft play. I really enjoy down time with my iPad. A also love listening to certain songs when I'm in the car.

Driver required to take me out.

Male / female preferred.

Hours of work
3 x hours during term time
9 x hours during school holidays

Rate of pay.
£12.75


Essential:
I need you to:

• Drive me to the places I enjoy going.
• Ensure I am safe.
• Help me with my food with cutting things up. I will need options for food as I am unbale to think of something myself.
• I like to know what is happening and what will happen next.
• Understand all about ADHD and how it makes me behave.
• To be patient with me if I get frustrated.
• To give me space to calm down safely if I get overwhelmed, while keeping a close eye on me.

Desirable
I’d prefer if:

I’d like support with
• Remind him to wash his hands
• Using the toilet
• Assistance with clothing once finished in toilet.
• I prompting when I eat my food

I will need my PA to:


Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
