A little about myself:
I am a young girl living in Swansea. I am more like a toddler and have no awareness to danger and can’t cross the road by myself. I can only speak a few words, but I can pull you to the direction I want you to go or I will show you what I would like by taking your hand. I understand a lot of instructions and I am willing to learn but you need to bear with me as I am very slow learner as I have a severe learning disability. If you tell me to stop doing something I normally will listen but If I don’t you just need to catch my attention and tell me to stop and distract me to something else. I am also tube fed but my parents will feed me before we go out so you don’t need to worry about feeding me. I can walk but I can’t walk fast and I need help to climb stairs. I don’t like loud noises, but I love soft play, swimming and seeing animals as I can do all their sounds.
My parents are potty training me at the moment and when I go out I will have my nappy on so I might need help to change my nappy when I go out.
On the very rare occasion that I would cry or get upset please find out what is wrong first and then try to calm me down by letting me watch YouTube videos such as ‘Little angel’ ‘Bluey’ ‘and ‘Peppa pig’. I don’t have a behaviour that is challenging but when I get frustrated, I will hit myself so please distract me to something else.
I love nursery songs and I love playing games such as peek a boo and Tag. I am fun to be with and would love you to take me out to different places so my parents can have a break to recharge their battery.
