We are looking for dynamic psychological professionals who are passionate about helping young people and their families. We have several vacancies within our SETCAMHS Locality Teams across mid and South Essex and our Eating Disorder Service and successful candidates will be joining a service that is well-established and innovative.

The role of the Clinical Lead is todevelop and oversee the needs-led evidence-based clinical model based on the CYP IAPT principles and the iTHRIVE framework. This will include ensuring the delivery of co-produced, personalised, formulation-driven care, including its efficacy and effectiveness.

Successful candidates will beinterested in leading clinical improvements within the service and in co-working with operational managers and partner agencies to deliver the highest standards of care. Clinical Leads are expected to support and develop the workforce through supervision, consultation and training, as well as to share their expertise within MDT and leadership meetings and hold a small caseload of young people with more complex needs.

Significant knowledge and experience of the principal evidence-based psychological therapies within CAMHS, such as CBT, Family Therapy, DBT and other psychotherapeutic approaches is essential. An awareness of trauma and attachment- presentations is also desirable.

For the Clinical Lead post within the Eating Disorder Service, significant knowledge and experience of the principal evidence-based psychological therapies for eating disorders, such as FT-AN, FT-BN and CBT-ED is essential. In addition, successful candidates will have experience of collaborative workingacross schools, hospitals, social care and other agencies to improve pathways for young people with eating disorders.

Successful candidates will belong to a supportive Directorate of Psychological Professions with a range of opportunities for leadership and career development andwill receive clinical supervision.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
