Female Support Worker - Kinson
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
£13.41 per hour
Full UK/EU Driving License Essential.
Dimensions have an exciting opportunity for a Female Support Worker to join a team that support a lady in her twenties who lives in her own home in the Kinson area of Bournemouth.
The lady, who has learning disabilities and autism, would like to meet a Female Support Worker that she can build a strong bond with. She would really like to meet an active well motivated Female Support Worker who will support her to be independent and live the life she chooses. She has a wide range of interests that include:
- Living an active lifestyle. She really enjoys going swimming, trampolining, and going for walks
- Fashion, pampering and makeovers (it's fair to say she likes giving makeovers as much as receiving them)
- Being creative - This young lady loves photography, sticker books and using her IT equipment
- A love of all things Disney. Expect to join the rest of the team in being given a Disney character name!
- A passion for baking and food. We encourage her to learn new things and promote healthy eating and exercise
This lady would like her new Female Support Worker to know that she doesn't always sleep well, which means some days will need to be quieter and all plans go out the window! Instead, she will need some downtime to chill out on her iPad, doing favoured activities or watching her favourite YouTube videos. She would also like you to know that you will be supporting her alongside another Support Worker.
This is a 37.5 hour per week role available with a mixture of 08.00-20.00 shifts and 08.00-22.00 shifts plus 1 sleep-in per week. Dimensions can offer a payrate of £13.41 per hour (sleep in shifts are paid at an allowance of £50 per shift).
Female Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and personal care.
As this lady has her own vehicle it is essential that all Female Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License.
