Peaslake Free School is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant (preferably with a Level 3 or equivalent qualification) to join our happy team.Salary: dependent on experience and qualificationJob overviewYou’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both on a whole-class and individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students’ learning needs are being met.Responsible for -: Providing quality education and care for children from 4 to 7 years. Developing partnerships with parent/carers to increase their involvement in children’s education.
Main Purpose of Post
To assist in providing quality educational provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting
To promote excellent practice at all times
To deliver the KS1 curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within the school
To demonstrate the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote good outcomes for children
To deliver a balanced programme of integrated education and childcare provision, which meets individual needs.
