About this role:

The Data Platform Engineering team is responsible for managing the application of the Engineering Quality Framework to the platforms and technology services delivered by Data Platforms, whilst also contributing the ongoing development of the framework.​



Members of the team are assigned into multi-disciplinary delivery teams working across Platforms and within transformational programmes. Data Platforms provides the operational run & sustain of all existing platforms, including UDAL, DPS, CDP, SUS+, SDE, and other legacy platforms.

About you

These are the shortlisting criteria which will be used for this vacancy. Please use the 'supporting statement' section in your application to demonstrate how you meet them:



· Experience of leading a workstream within a software development team, or similar levels of individual responsibility, leading on complex technical problems and collaborating with external suppliers.

· Working understanding of software development and ability to identify potential issues within the code that is being worked on with scope of wider system design.

· Ability to adopt and adapt appropriate methods, tools and techniques to ensure they are applied effectively for successful deliveries.

· Experience of engineering a simple system or comparable system components.

· Understanding of software architecture, design and development with exposure to a selection of platforms, languages, methodologies, patterns and implementations.
