Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will work in a Supported Living and Learning Environment with young adults aged 19+ who have severe learning difficulties and challenging behavior. Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing social activities to enhance quality of life
Assisting with all aspects of daily living and promoting independence
Establishing warm, caring, and supportive relationships with individuals
Encouraging and guiding supportive independence
Criteria: We are seeking proactive, compassionate individuals who demonstrate:
Previous care experience
Ability to work to a rota pattern including every other weekend
Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and understanding
Motivation to learn and go the extra mile
Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence
Good interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills
An active approach to the role
