What does being a Care Assistant involve?

- Personal Care such as assist with showering/bathing, dressing, medication etc
- Practical Support such as laundry, cleaning, preparing and cooking meals and taking people out to the shops, doctors or social events.
- Specialized Care - Supporting people with specialist needs
- Helping clients with their everyday duties
- Managing different medical conditions like dementia, autism, challenging behaviour
- Household duties, cooking, cleaning and general running of their home
- Personal Care such as assist with showering/bathing, dressing, medication etc
