ASSISTANT FIELD CARE TEAM LEADER
Job Title: Assistant Field Care Team Leader - Domiciliary Care Location: Pembrokeshire: Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and surrounding areas
The Role;
Assistant Field Care Team Leader based in Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and surrounding areas. As an Assistant Field Care Team Leader you will assist overseeing the quality and development of a team of care assistants and be a key point of contact for carers, liaising with carers and organising effective and appropriate service support for supervising a team of Carers out in the community. You will have responsibility for ensuring the quality and continuity of service delivery, including periods when Carer/ Support Workers are on leave or attending training. As an Assistant Field Care Team Leader you will assist with monitoring and reviewing care plans, and ensuring all clients care visits are running to the high standards expected. Carrying out supervision’s and Spot Checking of care staff.
The Candidate:
The Assistant Field Care Team Leader will have a background in health or social care gained within a care setting. You will possess a NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or be willing to work towards QCF level 2 and then progress onto level 3; you will be computer literate and be able to work as part of a team, you will be self-motivated with outstanding communication and organisation skills. As the role is predominately Office/field based a driving licence is essential as is flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to work shifts and participate in formulating Rota’s and the rota monitoring system CM2000 - Call Confirm Live. You will be provided with training to support you in your role and you will be expected to be available to attend that training together with any arranged managerial meetings.
