Support Workers

Location: Barnsley S74

Full time / part time contracts available

Pay £12.44 per hour

We are currently looking for support workers to support 4 amazing people based in Hoyland, Barnsley. They all have great personalities and enjoy a multitude of activities and hobbies, one thing they all enjoy doing together is having lots of fun and being silly!

**Rachel** loves music and enjoys singing along and having a good dance. Once she has used up all of her energy she loves nothing more than having a bubble bath

**Sam** enjoys going shopping, craft work and colouring, listening to music, especially Tom Jones! He also loves getting his weekly newspapers to catch up on the world and what is happening

**Joe** loves to watch horse racing on TV, listening to music while watching the world go by and thoroughly enjoys loud and jovial people to support him.

**Steve** enjoys listening to music and like *Joe* he loves jovial people and them talking in funny voices and he also likes listening to and watching the comedian Ken Dodd

So if you are a fun loving person who is up for a good laugh and happy to make a fool of yourself then this could be the role for you.

Along with supporting with the activities and things they love to do your role will also involve:-

- Supporting with full personal care and manual handling

- Supporting with meal preparation and feeding

- Medication

- Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry

- Supporting people to enjoy the activities they like to do

- Full training provided

Typical Shift patterns 07:00-14:00, 07:00:-14:30,14:00-21:00, 14:30-22:00 including a sleep in (at least one sleep in per week)
