The Business Systems Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the development, maintenance, and incident resolution of several key business systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee system roadmaps, manage supplier relationships, and ensure that all incidents are handled efficiently and effectively. The Business Systems Manager will also be responsible for supporting user forums, representing IT in system development discussions, and managing system development budgets throughout the year. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of business-critical systems while ensuring they meet operational and reporting needs. This role may also require helping to build and lead a small team of system specialists within IT.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

- Manage and track system development budgets throughout the year, ensuring efficient use of resources.

- Maintain oversight of the roadmap activities for each assigned system, ensuring alignment with business objectives

- Follow up on incident resolution to ensure timely and effective problem management.

- Lead the process of onboarding new and existing business systems into the formal IT support structure.

About you

The successful applicant will have:

- Hold a bachelor's degree or relevant experience working in an IT support role with senior technical, or people management responsibilities

- Knowledge of information technology support services, ideally including business systems

- Demonstrable success working in IT support, with experience of systems' support

- Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders/customers, and prioritise available resources appropriately
