The successful candidate will provide clinical sessions in Respiratory Medicine and contribute to the delivery and development of the lung cancer service and the Salford Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) Programme.

Targeted Lung Health Checks (TLHC), for the delivery of lung cancer screening, are an integral component of the NHSE Long Term Plan. The GM TLHC service is delivered across MFT and NCA through collaborative working. The NCA TLHC diagnostic pathway maximises efficiency by offering bundled diagnostics at Oldham and Salford CDCs to ensure as few visits as possible for patients.

Experience in Local Anaesthetic Thoracoscopy is favourable. The successful candidate is also expected to be skilled in performing EBUS, and to contribute to once weekly EBUS session at Fairfield General Hospital.
