Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support residents in day-to-day activities, promoting independence and dignity
Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing team
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to health and safety standards
Assist with medication management as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Requirements
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Health Care Assistant is preferred
A relevant qualification in health and social care, such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
Empathy and compassion when providing care to individuals with neurological conditions
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Commitment to continuous professional development and awareness of best practices in care services
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 19:30
End Time: 07:30
Pay Per Hour: £12.00
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
