UKCIL Job Reference:

  • Must be available to start March 2024 onwards
  • Approximately 96 hours per month available (initially, more may be available after probationary period completed)
  • Weekday availability essential
  • No previous medical experience needed, but you must be in good physical condition to sustainably manage daily manual handling requirements

NB: most likely working 4-5 days per calendar month max. Unless needed in an emergency, you will have the rest of your time to pursue other interests or work should you wish to, so long as any regular commitments are made known at interview.

I need practical support with all daily activities, assistance on trips away, attending social events and whilst at work. Working within an existing team, you'll work at least two or three 24-48 hour shifts per month, flexible to change on occasion as needed. Emergency cover may at times be needed if another PA is absent or ill. Sleeping nights required and parking available. Travel expenses will not be covered and you'll need to bring your own food. Must be prepared to work over the Christmas holidays as required.

Ideal Candidate:
  • A willingness to be open minded and flexible to changing needs
  • Able to learn/act under instruction is essential
  • A clean driving license held for more than 3 months
  • Able and willing to drive my Motability vehicle
  • Non smoker
  • No allergies to cats
  • Armed with a fun and outgoing sense of humour

You will be provided with:

  • tea, coffee and fridge/freezer space for food storage
  • an endless supply of bad jokes from me
